Celebrate Mom in the Village
Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I’m sharing how you can spoil her in Kiawah. Whether you live in the Johns Island area or want to make a trip to Kiawah, Freshfields Village has everything to treat mom for the day. From shopping, to dining, to interactive activities like candle making and spa services, there’s plenty of things to gift that special woman in your life. Or hint how you want to be spoiled!
I always find something I love at J. McLaughlin, like this jumpsuit and accessories that I’m wearing here. The staff are always warm and friendly and very helpful in picking out something special. If you can’t decide what you want to gift, you can get a gift certificate or just let mom pick it out herself.
There’s plenty of amazing restaurants at Freshfields Village to choose from to enjoy brunch, lunch, and dinner. Hege’s hosts a Mother’s Day brunch, and for lunch and dinner check out some of my favorites – La Tela, Fuji Sushi, and Forty Eight Wine Bar. I highly suggest making a reservation in advance because they’re probably booking up quick.
Who doesn’t love a spa treatment? Pamper mom at Urban Nirvana with a facial, massage, or mani and pedi.
Looking for an interactive activity you can do as a family? Palmetto Scent Studio is hosting a Mother’s Day special with Buy One & Get Mom’s 50% off + a complimentary glass of mimosa or fruit spritzer for each of you while you make your custom candle or any of their sweet smelling products. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
Seacoast Sports and Outfitters has all the outdoor gear you need to enjoy the lowcountry. If you’re feeling adventurous on Mother’s Day make a reservation to rent bikes, kayaks, or paddle boards.
Whatever you end up doing this Mother’s Day don’t forget to tell mom how much you appreciate her and all that she does for the family. And if you’re a mom reading this, try not to lift a finger on Sunday and let the family spoil you because you deserve it!
