Flapper’s Delight
The 20’s is one of my all time favorite era when it comes to style. Fashion, interior decor, architecture – the exburence elegance was modern beyond it’s time. The Spectator Hotel embodies all of this and I thought it would the perfect setting with this Buru outfit and Croghan’s Jewel Box jewelry.
It’s crazy to think over a hundred years ago the other pandemic happened, The Spanish Flu. Then boom! A couple years later it was the Roaring Twenties. Is history repeating itself? Being the forever optimist, I hope that things turn around in the not so distant future so I can roar with all my fabulous friends.
Flappers of the 1920s were young women known for their energetic freedom, embracing a lifestyle viewed by many at the time as outrageous, immoral or downright dangerous. Now considered the first generation of independent American women, flappers pushed barriers in economic and political freedom for women.
There is always an excuse to wear beautiful jewels. These are from Croghan’s Jewel Box where you can find the most beautiful fine jewelry and gifts. Their estate jewelry has some of the finest collection of art deco pieces from the twenties. If you’re looking for unique jewelry or a very special engagement ring then look no further. They are currently still open by appointment Monday – Saturday, so call or text them at 843-723-3594 to book your time to play in their jewel box. Also, follow them on Instagram for the latest sales and they are always open online!
Stay safe my friends!
