Mother’s Day Moments

Soak in those Mother’s Day Moments. Mother’s Day is just a few days away and I know we moms have been working harder than ever. Whether you have a toddler you’re running around after or you’re home-schooling, you deserve to be treated like a queen this Sunday.

Having more time with my boys at home has its ups and downs, but I know I’ll never have that much time with them again. I’m taking a look back at the quality time I’ve spent at Freshfields Village and how much fun we’ve had together. It’s one of my boys’ favorite places to go locally and this year, we plan to take a bike ride from Freshfields throughout Kiawah after brunch at home.

There’s still plenty of ways to treat mom at Freshfields Village this year. Whether it’s dining outdoors, a personalized virtual shopping experience, or a gift delivered right to her doorstep, there’s so many ways to pamper mom. This dress that I’m wearing here is from Scout & Molly’s and even though they are currently closed, they are still offering shopping options via social media. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook for new products and more information. Plus, free shipping is available for all items ordered through social media.

Palmetto Scent Studio is one of my favorite interactive shops I love to visit with my boys. Currently they can make a custom, made-to-order gift for Mother’s Day and if you live in Charleston, they’ll deliver for free to your doorstep! If you’re not local they ship nationwide for free for orders above $39. Many businesses are accommodating their shopping experience by offering curbside Pick-Up + Virtual & Online Shopping.

Don’t want to cook on Mother’s Day? FortyEight – Wine Bar & Kitchen’s has got you covered with their extensive to-go menu. Curbside pick-up will be available on Mother’s Day from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Hege’s is also offering a Mother’s Day meal to go or dine with them outdoors. Their Mother’s Day Dinner will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm with limited outdoor seating or you can place an order for pick up from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Get your orders and reservations in soon by calling them at 843-768-0035. I’m still dreaming of these shrimp and grits we had for a Mother’s Day brunch I had there a couple of years ago.

As shops and restaurants in the Village begin to reopen, the businesses continue to tailor their services to support the community while practicing social distancing and safe operations. From new outdoor seating options to retailer specials, you can stay up to date with all the latest offerings on their website. Visit the Freshfields Village dedicated pages for retailer promotions and restaurant services. They will continue to update their website with reduced hours and business operations.
