The Most Versatile Valentine’s Dress
The Most Versatile Valentine’s Dress – Looking for the perfect Valentine’s dress that will keep your date guessing? This Morph Clothing Capsule Dress is my all-time favorite and the Fiery Coral color is the perfect red that compliments any skin tone all year round. I pretty much live in my capsule dresses because they are unbelievably versatile. With my lifestyle I can go to meetings, a photo shoot, and then to dinner and never have to change while always looking appropriate for every occasion.

The one-shoulder style is one of my favorite ways to wear the dress. It’s amazing what these sleeves can do! When you pull the neckline under your arms and pull the sleeves up, they become halter straps. There are countless ways you can wear the halter style – you can do a criss cross and twist the sleeves for a thinner strap. You can even shorten the length and turn the dress into a top and a skirt. How genius is that?
The Charleston based designer Cristy Pratt is self-taught and is actually dyslexic, so she had to figure out the construction of the dress backwards. She wanted a piece that was sustainable, versatile and size inclusive. The XL fits up to a size 22. It’s rare that you find a style of clothing that looks good on every body shape, but this one does and actually the curvier you are the better it looks.
This Morph dress costs $248 and is so worth it because you get over 60 different styles out of it. This fabric is the modal and it feels like butter on your skin. The bamboo blend has great stretch but doesn’t stretch out, it’s also machine washable and doesn’t pill or fade. On top of all of that it’s made in the U.S.A.
Morph Clothing is a global brand thanks to a couple of viral videos Cristy made over the summer. One of them has over 19 million views on Facebook and counting! She has sold to over 40 countries and now these Morph dresses are being worn by women from South Africa to Australia.
There’s a lot of new things on the horizon for Morph Clothing including new colors and prints and more convertible clothing styles. I’ll be heading to Palm Springs next month with Morph for Alt Summit. We’ll be hosting a fashion show and pop up shop at the epic female entrepreneur conference.
I couldn’t think of better jewelry to pair with my Morph dress than the Goldbug Collection from Croghan’s Jewel Box. The Charleston based jewelry and gifts are designed by Croghan’s fourth generation sisters, “Mini” Mariana Hay and Kathleen Hay Hagood. Their latest “Love on Top” collection of goldbugs are a new whimsical spin on the bugs.
Check out my video of me Morphing so you can see how easy it is to switch up each style.
