Sidewalk Saturdays at Freshfields Village, Kiawah
Fall is officially here which means gorgeous weather that makes you want to get outside and enjoy the Lowcountry. Freshfields Village is celebrating the season with Sidewalk Saturdays on every 3rd Saturday of the month in October, November & December from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The event will feature sidewalk sales, new merchandise, gifts with purchase, in-store events and more at participating retailers and restaurants.
I love popping into J. McLaughlin to see the latest clothing and accessories. The super friendly stylists know their merchandise and are always so accommodating. I fell in love with these stretchy jeans but they didn’t have my size so they had their downtown location ship them to me. J. McLaughlin‘s classic style can be easily incorporated into any basic pieces in your closet. These croc embossed slides will also be my shoe of choice this season. Shop the new Fall Collection at J. McLaughlin and receive a FREE gift with all purchases.
J. McLaughlin‘s matching mask and gloves set in leopard print is on trend. When taking Covid precautions you might as well make it fashion!
Since most of us have been staying home more often it’s the perfect time to decorate and spruce up the house. I swung by GDC Home next and fell in love with a couple of furry stools. It was the perfect accent I needed in my den.
Along with stocking a variety of furniture at GDC Home, you can also find home accents that will brighten up your abode. I love this local glassware line from Estelle Colored Glass. Impress your guests for all of the upcoming holiday occasions with this pop of color on your table.
GDC Home is also a great resource for keepsake jewelry carrying lines like Julie Vos. Timeless pieces like these earrings and ring are hand set in 24k gold plate over nickel-free brass and sealed to prevent tarnish.
So if you’re looking to escape, get some retail therapy, and dine at great restaurants you can only find in Kiawah, then make the trek to Freshfields Village. Relax, unwind, and enjoy the good life at one of the Lowcountry’s most charming villages.
Don’t forget to follow safety protocols, wear masks, and practice social distancing while in and out of businesses at the Village.
