Bathroom Makeover
They say bathrooms and kitchens are the quickest way to upgrade your house. I’m so happy we started with our bathrooms first. When you’re getting ready in the morning, your environment is everything. Since most of our house has white walls, I wanted to incorporate patterns in the bathrooms. From wallpaper to tile, we achieved that. Have a look at the before and afters of our bathroom wallpaper upgrade.
My good friend Julianne Taylor designed this funky and fun lavender wallpaper for Mitchell Black. Purple is my favorite color and this shade is so calming and chic. We wanted full impact for this half bath, so we also had the ceiling papered.
For our master bath we opted for a serene vibe. The neutrals tones with the chevron print is classic and timeless.
The floating vanity saves space in our compact bathroom.
For my boys bathroom we wanted graphic impact and got it with the black and white contrasts. We let them pick out their tile and I was pleased they went with this art deco pattern. Who says a kids bathroom has to be primary colors?
We’re looking to do more decor updates on the house this winter. Once you start, you can’t stop!
