Spring into Freshfields Village
Springtime Shopping at Freshfields – Spring time in Freshfields Village is always buzzing with events and local happenings. I took a tour the other day to pop into a few boutiques to see what they had in store. My first stop was at Holly and Brooks where they always have some gems. I love this reversible kimono that’s so versatile. I love any multi-wear pieces that you can incorporate into your wardrobe that makes a statement. Everyone needs a kimono to throw over a dress, jeans, and a t-shirt.
On March 17th Holly and Brooks is going green for St. Patrick’s Day and you’ll receive 17% off any full price green item or pick any color item and receive 17% off by using your own environmentally friendly shopping bag.
If you’re a wine lover and like to stockpile your collection or just like to sample like me then Forty Eight Wine Bar is a must stop. You can enjoy 48 wines by the glass served using your own Wine Station Smart Card, and select from three tasting sizes – 1 oz., 3 oz., or 6 oz. They also sell retail wines to go – over 1,000 labels …from every major varietal, and every major wine region of the world.
Whether you’re looking for light bites like a charcuterie board or a refreshing salad and flatbread Forty Eight Wine Bar has it all. I love sitting outside grazing their delicious plates and sipping wine while the kids run around on the green in Freshfields Village.
Forty Eight Wine Bar loves giving back and every Sunday in March from 5-9pm they are hosting Dine to Donate. They will donate half of all the profits from the evening to a local charity including Barrier Island Medical Clinic, Kiawah Cares, and Southern Tails For Precious Paws.
This month kicks off the Spring Sip, Shop & Stroll series. Every 3rd Thursday in March, April and May from 4:00 to 7:00 pm enjoy special sales, promotions, events, tasty treats and sips in participating shops and restaurants. As the season ramps up in Kiawah you’ll definitely want to make your visits to Freshfields Village more frequent!
