Meet Morph Clothing! Last March I had the pleasure of meeting Cristy Pratt, the designer behind Morph Clothing. I was instantly blown away at her capsule dress which can be worn in over 60 different ways. Of course within minutes of meeting her, I asked her to morph it for me as I videotaped it.

I posted it on my Insta-stories and received many comments about the dress. I knew immediately that this dress would be a worldwide sensation. A self-taught designer, Cristy created this dress out of necessity. She wanted something that could be worn in different ways to serve many purposes. After inheriting her grandmother’s sewing machine, she was motivated to sew a dress that would manifest her vision.

The dress starts off with long sleeves that can be turned into straps like this halter style here. You can also tuck the sleeves inside for a simple strapless style. The length can also be modified from ankle length, knee length, and mini. Every style that you can wear as a dress can be worn as a top, and you can also pull it down to be worn as a skirt.

The fabric is what makes this dress so easy to morph. It’s so simple to manipulate, it stretches but doesn’t stretch out, and it doesn’t wrinkle. The way the fabric drapes makes it flattering on all body types. It hides what you want to camouflage and accentuates what you want to show off. The style that I’m wearing here is made out of bamboo and is the softest material to touch your skin.

New styles are being created on the daily and I just came up with this twisted halter one here. The possibilities are endless!

One dress fulfills many needs so you don’t have to keep on buying a variation of the same dress over and over again. It really is inclusive because she carries an XL which fits up to a size 24. It’s the ideal dress when you’re pregnant because it transitions as your belly grows. It’s also the perfect postpartum piece when you’re nursing and still shedding that baby weight. It’s so convenient for travel because you have many looks in one and it doesn’t wrinkle. It really is one dress for all!

I had so much fun experimenting with the twisted straps for this Grecian style. Alicia Ward of Ward Communications and Cristy are wearing the new saffron color that’s a perfect transition for fall.

Cristy posted a video of her morphing at Maddison Row South a few weeks ago on Facebook and it went viral. In just 2 weeks she had over 5 million views and over 57,000 shares! Needless to say her business had a big boom especially in the international market. She’s currently selling to South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Sweden, UK, Romania, Russia, and the list keeps on growing. It’s so exciting to see a local Charleston business have a global impact in the fashion world.

I was fortunate enough to join Cristy Pratt this summer on her Morph tour from L.A. to New York. We set up at the gifting suite at the BET awards in June in L.A. where we raised brand awareness to industry heavy hitters in the entertainment industry. We recently came back from New York to attend the MTV VMA’s in New Jersey. We spent the weekend morphing on the streets of Brooklyn and New York spreading the Morph love. Then we had the fortunate experience of walking the red carpet at the VMA’s and watching incredible performances by Lizzo, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendez, Miley Cyrus, and Missy Elliot. I’m looking forward to the next adventure at Chicago Fashion Week where we’ll be styling models for a trans show. The Morph brand truly transcends generation, size, race, and gender. I’m so honored to help cultivate the this groundbreaking brand and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Cristy Pratt and Morph Clothing. It’s not just an article of clothing, it’s a movement!
