Local Love at Rhodes Boutique

Local Love at Rhodes Boutique – Charleston has been buzzing lately with new store openings focusing on the home. Since I’ve been renovating my house I’m always on the hunt for the perfect pieces and looking for inspiration. Locally owned boutique Rhodes recently expanded their business with Rhodes Home & Gift a few doors down at 84 Folly Rd. in South Windermere.

The light and airy space is beautifully decorated with a beautiful mix of modern and traditional decor. They offer everything from cashmere throws, bedding, china, and stemware to lighting, wallpaper, and upholstery that can be ordered.

Rhodes Home & Gift also offers bridal registry for those heirloom pieces that you’ll want to keep in the family forever.

I’m a sucker for wallpaper and I love that they carry the Schumacher line for both wallpaper and upholstery fabric.

Their collection of design books also make great gifts.

Rhodes boutique is owned by Caroline Rhodes and managed by her oldest daughter, McNair Rhodes Somheil.  It has steadily grown from a monogram and gift shop to a full scale Boutique. Rhodes carries an array of ladies apparel lines, accessories, wedding and gift registry, home décor, and continues to offer embroidery services for personal and corporate needs.

I featured these stemless champagne flutes on Lowcountry Live on Friday along with rings by J. Melissa Designs. This local designer has the most beautiful cocktail rings and donates a portion of her sales to help build infrastructure to a village in Africa.

You can really find something at every price range at their original store Rhodes boutique at 92 Folly Rd. This headband is only $35 and these lightweight statement earrings are $74.

This dress by Shoshanna is gorgeous and perfect for a Valentine’s date night out, wedding, or any spring event.

This decanter combines both form and function with its modern design.

Rhodes has plenty of bath products to pamper your loved one with. I especially love this grown-up version of bubble bath. Maybe the packaging will throw off the little ones and they won’t want to use it.

I love the modern design of this vase/bowl. I can just imagine a full bouquet of hydrangeas spilling over it.

If you’re planning a Valentine’s dinner in, then these heart placemats are what you need to keep the theme going.

They even have something for the men in your life. These socks go for $12 and the poker gift set is only $25.

These earrings are by local brand Margerite and Motte. These aren’t your average oyster accessories, Laura the designer finds the daintiest Oyster shells around town and pairs some of them with gemstones like labradorite. The travel case is a must have to keep your jewelry or cosmetics organized.

They also have tons of these beaded earrings and you can scoop up a pair like these heart ones starting at $32, perfect for a Galentine’s gift. They have something for everyone and at every price range, so swing by Rhodes boutique for your sweetheart. I’m also giving away a $200 gift card to Rhodes and the contest ends on Valentine’s Day.
