Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Sweet Julep’s Sweet and Spicy gift basket $50

Now that places have finally opened back up in Charleston it’s time to think about how you’re spoiling dad this Father’s Day. It felt so good to pop into some of the shops at Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre and get some ideas for dad – Charleston Based Father’s Day Gift Ideas! This place really does have it all and it’s easy to find something for the person who’s usually the hardest one to buy for. All of the businesses are taking the Covid-19 precautions including all employees wearing masks and encouraging all of the customers to do so as well.

Some of the local businesses have been able to pivot during Covid-19 and are actually reaching a broader audience. Sweet Julep’s started selling online and delivers locally. They never shut down because they produce “food” in their candy shop. Chocolate is essential, right? They have a few gift packages to go that are perfect for those dads that have a sweet tooth. Their Sweet and Spicy gift basket has their homemade fudge and chocolates and locally made hot sauce, BBQ sauce from Lillie’s of Charleston, and red pepper jelly.

The Southern Tide at Towne Centre is actually locally owned by M. Dumas and Sons, so when you shop with them know you are supporting a small business. If you’re looking for a no-brainer gift package then their signature fragrance set is the way to go. It includes cologne, body wash, and lotion. They’re also running a Father’s Day sale with 30% off all long sleeve shirts, spring/summer outerwear, casual pants, denim, and all ties and bow ties.

If dad is dreaming about a Caribbean getaway, do him a favor and get this Tommy Bahama fragrance set from Belk. The body wash, shaving balm and cologne will make him feel like he’s cruising the clear blue waters of the Bahamas.

One of my husband’s personal favorites are his pants from Lululemon. The four way stretch and moisture wicking is essential for Charleston’s balmy weather. The Mt. Pleasant store offers a complimentary fit session to ensure dad gets the essentials he needs in the right size. Their staff is educated on every single piece of merchandise in the store. Whether you’re looking for low impact workout clothes, high impact workout clothes, athleisure or swimwear, they have everything for an active lifestyle.

Burton’s Grill & Bar is one of my favorite restaurants at Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre. Why not get dad a gift card or treat him for a Father’s Day lunch or dinner? You can find everything from burgers, salads, sandwiches, to this yummy lobster roll. They are taking all of the precautions with proper spacing in the dining room and plenty of seating on their outdoor patio. Or you can take it to go and have a picnic in Towne Centre’s mini park under the oaks.

I’m excited to team up with Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre to spoil one lucky dad this Father’s Day with gifts valued over $500!
